Rollovers and retirement plan assets
Before deciding whether to retain assets in a retirement plan account through a former employer or roll them over to an IRA, an investor should consider various factors including, but not limited to, investment options, fees and expenses, services, withdrawal penalties, protection from creditors and legal judgments, required minimum distributions and possession of employer stock.
Review your regulator's investor alert on rollovers before initiating a transfer, and consult a qualified tax adviser about your specific situation.
Non-deposit investment products
Securities and other non-deposit investment products and services are not insured by the FDIC, are not deposits or obligations of, or guaranteed by, VaultX Private Bank, National Association, and are subject to investment risk, including the possible loss of the principal amount invested.
Important information about procedures for opening a new account
To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you: when you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also use a third-party information provider for verification purposes and/or ask for a copy of your driver's license or other identifying documents.
1. Digital assets
Trading and owning digital assets involves significant risk, including the risk of complete loss. VaultX Securities LLC does not transact in or custody digital assets. All digital asset transactions and custody occur between you and our third-party digital asset partner through a separate, non-brokerage account in your name and outside of VaultX Securities LLC.
Digital assets held through our digital asset partner are not FDIC insured and are not protected by the investor protection corporation. The digital asset partner is licensed to engage in virtual currency business activity by its state financial services regulator.
2. Deposit insurance on CDs and checking
Certificate of Deposit, Checking and Max-Rate Checking deposits are insured to at least $250,000 per depositor, per ownership category, by the FDIC.
3. Premium Savings Bank Deposit Program
The Premium Savings Bank Deposit Program (the "Program") gives VaultX Private Bank, National Association the ability to sweep any amount held on deposit in your Premium Savings Account to other depository accounts at Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation ("FDIC") member banks with the purpose of affording you additional FDIC insurance coverage.
